Where it started
Before the show became Young & Adulting, it launched as Bright Horizons with Jess, and this 47-second teaser was the very first thing published. It is short, but it sets out the promise every episode since has tried to keep.
The idea was simple: a podcast where Jess, your Bida Bida Buddy, shares "personal experiences, struggles, and victories in navigating adulting."
What the show set out to do
The teaser names three things listeners could expect:
- Real lessons from real life. From "wishful adulting 101 lessons to real-life challenges," with each episode framed as a step toward personal growth.
- Turning regrets into lessons. The line that sums it up: "Let's turn I wish I knew moments into lessons and celebrate victories together."
- A mix of tones. "Real talk, laughter, and inspiration," rather than a lecture.

Why it still matters
